Hyderabad, Dec 26 (UNI) Though there was a 6 per cent reduction in the overall crime rate, the number of cases in Murders/culpable homicide increased by 8 per cent in Hyderabad city in 2018 as compared to the previous year.

The number of cases registered under Indian Penal Code and special local laws still 15 December this year is 15,215 as against 16,140 cases in 2017, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said in a Annul press meet organized at Chow Mohalla Palace here on Wednesday.
