Simian cause HP fire, destroys property worth Rs 80L

Hamirpur (HP), May 21 (UNI) A monkey caused a major fire on Saturday in Himachal Pradesh here destroying property worth Rs 80 lakh.
The local Garbage Treatment Unit was reduced to ashes, said a spokesman of the Nagar Parishad.
According to employees of the Nagar Parishad, the monkey had climbed the power line attached to a machine at the Dagneri village treatment plant, which made plastic from waste.
