SI ends life

Vijayawada, Jan 19 (UNI) A sub-inspector of police, attached to the two town police station in Gudiwada town in Krishna district, allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself in his house in Gudiwada on Tuesday.
Police said that the deceased sub-inspector Pillli Vijay Kumar committed suicide by hanging himself in his apartment. The 2012 batch Sub-inspector, belonged to Eluru in West Godavari district.
Krishna district Superintendent of police Ravindranath Babu saw the body and consoled the bereaved family members. The SP expressed grief at the death of the SI at a young age. He said that investigation would be conducted by a Circle Inspector, the SP said. A case was registered and the body was shifted to the government area hospital for postmortem.
