SAD appeals to leaders, cadre to attend prayer congregation on Jan 10

Chandigarh, Jan 7 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday appealed to the party leaders and cadre to take part in prayer congregations (Ardas samagam), to be held across Punjab on January 10 by the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC), to seek justice for the 1984 Sikh massacre victims.
Giving this information at the party headquarters here, SAD senior vice-president and party Spokesperson Daljeet Singh Cheema said that a request had been made to all party cadre and leaders, including all office-bearers, district presidents and Halqa In-charges, in this regard.
He said it is the need of the hour to support and stand with the 1984 Sikh genocide victims to help them in getting all perpetrators of this heinous crime behind the bars as the SGPC have been fighting for their cause since decades.
