Rs 6 lakh looted from UP in broad daylight

Pratapgarh, Jul 10 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted an employee of a gas agency of Rs six lakh in the City Kotwali area of this district in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
Police sources here said that Jai Prakash aka Lalle Dubey, an employee at Shivam Gas Agency, had gone to deposit money into his bank.
The motorcycle-borne miscreants looted him of Rs six lakh at gun point, at the gate of the main branch of State Bank of India and fled from the spot.
Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team reached the spot and started a manhunt to nab the absconding culprits.
Jai Prakash has given a written complaint of the loot at Kotwali Nagar police station. Further investigation is underway, the sources added.
