Hamirpur (HP), Jan 26(UNI) Republic day functions were organised in various parts of the district on Tuesday by paying rich tributes to the freedom fighters who had laid down their lives for the country's freedom.
Main function was held in the local boy’s school ground in which HP Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur was the chief guest. He took salute from the contingents of HP Police and Home guard jawans. He also inspected the colorful parade presented by these contingents.
Such functions were also held at Nadaun, Bhoranj, Badsar and Sujanpur where concerned SDM,s unfurled the national flag and took part in the function.
