Ready to make any sacrifice to stop Navjot Sidhu from becoming CM: Amarinder

Chandigarh, Sep 22 (UNI) Former Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Wednesday announced that he was ready to make any sacrifice to stop PPCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu from becoming the Chief Minister of the state and save the country from him.
Capt Amarinder said that he would field his strong candidate in the Punjab Assembly elections 2022 against the PPCC chief to stop Navjot Sidhu from becoming the Chief Minister of the state. He said that 'Sidhu' is a threat to the country.
Stating that he would only leave politics at the highest level, the former chief minister said, "I was ready to leave after the victory but never after the defeat." He revealed that he had tendered his resignation to Sonia Gandhi three weeks ago. But Sonia Gandhi told him to continue. "If they had called me now and asked me to resign, I would have resigned immediately," he said. As such, I know how to do my job and I will definitely go back when I am called back."
