Punjab: Police arrest 2 accused who demanded Rs 3 crore ransom

Ludhiana, Apr 22 (UNI) Punjab Police have arrested two men allegedly involved in making extortion call on WhatsApp to a resident in Ludhiana district demanding Rs 3 crore as ransom, a senior officer said on Monday.
Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal said five mobile phone, three different car number plates, two handcuffs, stamp of the Special Superintendent of Police Jagraon, a .32 bore pistol with 7 live cartridge, sixother .32 bore pistols, a .45 bore pistol, 160 lve cartridges and two vehicles were seized from the accused.
