Punjab : One held with 4.85 quintals chura post in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, Aug 17 (UNI) Punjab Police nabbed a man and seized 4.85 quintals of chura post from him in this industrial town while his three accomplices managed to escape, police sources said here on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference here, Ludhiana ADCP Rupinder Kaur Saran informed that police intercepted a car and arrested its driver after the recovery of 66 kg chura post from the vehicle during search.
The arrested man, identified as Raj Kumar, during interrogation confessed that he was on his way to supply the drugs after obtaining it from his uncle Balbir Singh. After his interrogation, police recovered 3 quintals 52 kg chura post and a car, the ADCP said and added that the hunt is on to nab his three absconding accomplices.
