Punjab govt declares gazetted holiday on Vishwakarma Diwas

Chandigarh, Nov 2 (UNI) In view of Vishwakarma Diwas, the Punjab government has declared a gazetted holiday on November 8, an official spokesperson said here on Friday.
The spokesperson added that the Punjab government had issued a notification in this regard and all the offices of the state government, boards, corporations and other governmental or educational institutes would remain closed on Vishwakarma Diwas.
The holiday was earlier included in the state's list of restricted holidays.
