Punganur Excise police seizes 20 kg of Marijuana leaves in AP district , 2 held

Chittoor, Jan 24 (UNI) Punganur Excise police have seized 20 kg of marijuana leaves at Chinnakonda Charala of Punganur Mandal in this district on Friday.
Based on an information about the illegal transportation of ganja from Karnataka to Punganur rampantly, the Excise department staff led by Circle-Inspectors Srinivasulu and Gangireddy, conducted vehicle checking at Chinnakonda Charala.
The police have spotted two men coming on a two-wheeler and the riders stopped their vehicle and tried to abscond. The police, however, nabbed them and found 20 kg of marijuana leaves in their possession.
