Professor Samar Singh inaugurates weather display board

Chandigarh, Oct 17 (UNI) Vice-Chancellor, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Professor Samar Singh on Saturday inaugurated the Weather Display Board on behalf of the Agricultural Meteorological Department at gate number four of the university. With this, weather forecast information will be provided to farmers and general public passing through the gate, he said.
He said that the University has always worked for the benefit of farmers. Providing information of weather forecast to farmers and general public through display board is a significant step. He called upon the farmers to join more and more universities and take advantage of new technologies and varieties of different crops and vegetables and continue getting information from scientists from time to time.
