Police seizes 185 KGs ganja in AP

Eluru, Aug 19 (UNI) Police seized 185 KGs of ganja when it was being transported in an auto rickshaw truck at Jeelugumilli on Monday and arrested three persons.
Circle Inspector Allu Naveen Narasimha Murthy told media that on a tip off, a police team conducted checking of vehicles. They found 30 packets containing ganja in an auto rickshaw truck, which was concealed in plastic chairs by making special arrangements.
The 185 KGs ganja, worth Rs 4 lakh, was being transported from Dharakonda village in Vizainagaram district to Konhijarla village in Khammam district in Telangana State. The police arrested three persons in this connection.
