Police resorts to lathicharge to disburse student activists of KSU, MSF

Kozhikode, June 13 (UNI) Police resorted to lathicharge here on Thursday to disburse the student activists belonging to the Kerala Students Union (KSU) and Muslim Students Federation (MSF), who were protesting against the alleged apathy of the police in tracing and arresting the accused involved in the teacher-writing-exam-for-students controversy.
Using of water cannons by police on them has provoked the agitators. Few among the protesters were injured and have been rushed to the hospital,
The students unions had taken out separate protest march demanding immediate arrest and action on culprits behind the teacher-writing-examination for students in the recently held plus two examination at Neeleswaram school in Mukkam near here.
