Police recovered more than Rs. 56 lacks from a jewellery shop following tip off : DGP

Dharamshala, Feb 2 (UNI) Director General of Police Himachal Pradesh Mr. Sanjay Kundu on Thursday said that Police recovered more than Rs. 56 lacks from a jewellery shop at Pathankot following a police raid following a tip off by a drug trafficker.
Director General of Police Himachal Pradesh Mr. Sanjay Kundu told UNI on Thursday that it is pertinent to mention that on Wednesday, Nurpur Police had recovered 01 Kg 100 gram heroin, 100 tablets Alprazolam I.P. 0.5 mg and cash of Rs. 13,20,330/- from the possession of two accused persons identified as Vishal Kumar son of Lakhwinder Singh resident of VPO Bhadroya, Tehsil Indora, District. Kangra and Rohit Kumar son of Bua Das, resident of Khatib Dera Baba Nanak Road,Tehsil, Gurdaspur Punjab.
Sanjay Kundu, Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh has congratulated Superintendent of Police Nurpur and his team for successful recovery of huge heroin and cash etc.
