PM Modi to inaugurate 3-day Maritime India Summit 2021 in March: VPT Chairman

Visakhapatnam, Feb 22 (UNI) To attract domestic as well as international investments, the Ministry of Port, Sipping and Waterways will organize Maritime India summit 2021 from March 2 to 4 through virtual mode with an aim to position Indian maritime sector on par with international standards, officials said here on Monday.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) Chairman K Rama Mohana Rao said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit.
A special session for investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh is scheduled on March 3 in which Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is expected to participate in the special session, he informed.
