PIB organizes day-long media workshop in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 24 (UNI) A day-long Media Workshop was organized by Press Information Bureau (PIB) in the summer capital, Srinagar on Saturday to inform journalists about various centrally sponsored schemes and their role to create awareness among the masses.
“The day-long Media Workshop -‘Vartalap’ - conducted at Auditorium of Jammu and Kashmir Department of Information and Public Relations in Srinagar, was aimed at sensitization of journalists from Srinagar and Budgam districts about various centrally sponsored schemes and their vital role to create awareness among the masses,” a PIB spokesperson said
He said the program was inaugurated by Director Information, Department of Information and Public Relation, Jammu and Kashmir Government, Tariq Ahmad Zargar and was attended by a large number of eminent media persons from Srinagar and Budgam districts along with other officials.
