Panchayati Raj Institutions to prepare budget before expenditure

Gangtok,Mar 21(UNI) Directorate of Local Fund Audit Sikkim has presented the annual report on audit and review on Sikkim Panchayati Raj Institutions.
It has been revealed that the Gram Panchayat Units did not maintain their accounts in new format recommended by the Union Ministry of Panchayati Raj and CAG.
The audit was thunderstruck at non preparation of budget and expenditure without any preparation and approval.
