Panchayat Polls Phase IV: 804662 voters to elect 2088 panchs, sarpanchs in J&K

Srinagar, Nov 26 (UNI) Over 804662 voters will exercise their franchise on Tuesday to elect 2088 sarpanchs and panchs in the Jammu and Kashmir, where authorities have set up 2618 polling booths while 1068 candidates have been elected unopposed.
Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), J&K Shaleen Kabra said on Monday that polling for Phase-IV of Panchayat Polls-2018 will be held tomorrow at 2618 polling stations across the state including 639 in Kashmir division and 1979 in Jammu division. The timing for polling is from 0800 hrs to 1400 hrs.
He said 777 polling stations have been categorised as hypersensitive in Phase-IV including 571 in Kashmir division and 206 in Jammu division.
