Odisha Assly Speaker expresses regret for not allowing Leader of Opposition to speak

Bhubaneswar, Nov 19 (UNI) Odisha Assembly Speaker S N Patro today expressed his regret for not allowing Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly Pradipta Kumar Naik to speak and adjourning the house for the day yesterday.
The Speaker said yesterday before the house was adjourned for the day the BJP members came to the house and the Leader of Opposition wanted to speak something on a point of order.
When Mr Naik raised the issue of the death of Haridaspur Panchayat Executive Officer Smitarani Biswal but the Speaker adjourned the house stating that the issue had already been discussed in the house and there was no need for further discussion.
