No change in situation, leaders remain under detention, internet still suspended

Srinagar, Dec 8 (UNI) There was still no change in the situation on Sunday in Kashmir valley, where the leaders of different political parties remained under detention and pre-paid mobile and internet services remained suspended since August 5, when the Centre scrapped Articles 370 and 35 A, besides dividing the state into two Union Territories (UTs).
Despite sub-zero temperature, fog and icy cold winds, vendors had put up their stalls at the famous three-km-long 'Sunday Market'.
Meanwhile, a large number of Central Paramilitary Forces (CPMF) remained deployed on streets since morning to maintain law and order.
