Nitish inspects banks of river Ganga before Chhath festival

Patna, October 27 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday inspected the banks of river Ganges in view of the upcoming Chhath festival.
During his inspection the Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to ensure cleanliness and safety and security of the devotees offering special prayers at the banks of the river.
He also asked to construct pontoon bridges from collectorate Ghat and Mahendru Ghat and ensure better commuting facilities for convenience of the people during the festival.
