Security tightened in Aurangabad ahead of bhoomi pujan in Ayodhya

Aurangabad, Aug 5 (UNI) Security has been tightened and vigil increased in this Maharashtra district ahead of Ram Janam Bhoomi pujan in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya on Wednesday.
According to police sources, all the leaves for Wednesday have been cancelled as the district falls in the sensitive zone that witnessed a communal riot in 2018 in which nearly 3,000 unidentified people were booked for offences like arson, rioting and damaging public property.
As many as 3,500 police force and 350 home guards have been deployed in this Marathwada city. Apart from that, an SRP company has been called along and checkpoints have been set up at 65 sensitive points here.
