Pune, Nov 8 (UNI) The road widening of the 221 Km Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Marg and 130 Km Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Marg leading to the famous temple town of Pandharpur in Maharashtra will be done at estimated cost of Rs 12,000 crore, Union Roads and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Monday.
Speaking on the sidelines of the foundation stone laying ceremony, he said the work of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Highway is expected to cost Rs 7,000 crore and it will be completed in next one-and-a-half years.
While, the work of Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Highway is expected to cost Rs 5,000 crore, he informed.
