Maha reports 207 new Variant Omicron cases

Aurangabad/Mumbai, Jan 9 (UNI) Maharashtra on Saturday reported 207 new Omicron patients, taking the tally of such cases to 1,216, informed health official on tonight.
They further said that ,out of 207 fresh cases of them majority of 57 spotted in Sangali followed by 40 in Mumbai,22 in Pune Corporation,21in Nagpur, 15 in Pimpri Chinchwad,12 in Thane ,8 in Kolhapur,6 in Amravati, 5 in Osmanabad, 4 each in Buldhana and Akola, 3 in Gondiya, 2 each in Satara,Nandurbar and Gachiroli and one each in Aurangabad,Latur,Jalna and Mira Bhayandar.
So far, 454 cases out of the total caseload have been cured and discharged after conducting their RTPCR test as negetive,data added.

255 child marriages stopped in a year: Collector

Beed (Maharashtra), April 26 (UNI) Child Helpline has succeeded in stopping 255 child marriages during the past one year in Beed district, District Collector Deepa Mudhol Munde said as she congratulated them on reaching the milestone and added, "our aim is to make it zero child marriage in the district".
