Thane, Jul 25 (UNI) Reaffirming the state government's commitment to providing all health facilities to the people, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said on Saturday that in order to curb the growing number of Covid-19 cases and to prevent the spread of the virus, integrated quality healthcare facilities should be created as well as emphasis be placed on large-scale tracing.
Speaking after inaugurating the dedicated Covid Care Centres and labs at Kalyan and Dombivili towns of the district via online from Mumbai, he said that in addition to setting up of the jumbo facilities, proper patient care, timely medical treatment and oxygen and ventilator facilities should be made available at these centres, he said.
"The whole world is currently facing a great crisis of the coronavirus. Today we are fighting this crisis vigorously. We are expanding health facilities, which is a matter of satisfaction, with an emphasis on patient discovery, screening and treatment. 131 experiment schools have been set up in the state," he pointed.
