Mah DGP inaugurates museum at Centre for Police Research, Pune

Pune, Nov 20 (UNI) The police must primarily protect the constitution and the common man while performing their duty towards society, stated Maharashtra DGP Subodh Kumar Jaiswal on Friday.
He came to this city for inaugurating the museum at the Centre for Police Research located at Pashan and also unveiled the statue of acclaimed cartoonist R K Laxman installed at the Centre.
DGP Jaiswal remarked that he was “fortunate” to get this opportunity of honouring late Padma Bhushan awardee R K Laxman, whose creativity etched the character of ‘common man’.
