BioAsia 2024: Geoff Martha designates Hyde as a Healthcare Life-Sciences Hub

Hyderabad, Feb 28 (UNI) Geoff Martha, Chairman and CEO of Medtronic, declared Hyderabad a healthcare life-sciences hub.
In his keynote address on the final day of the three-day Bio Asia 2024 being held at HICC here on Wednesday, Martha commended the contributions of Telangana and Hyderabad to this designation and expressed excitement about the prospects in healthcare.
Martha highlighted the advancements in healthcare, emphasizing Medtronic's commitment to leveraging technology for patient benefit. He discussed innovations in pacemaker technology, brain signal sensing for treating Parkinson's, and a novel therapy for hypertension approved by the FDA.
