Dr. Jitendra Singh lays foundation stone of first-ever "Science Experience Centre" in CSIR-IICT Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Mar 4 (UNI) Union Minister of State (Ind. Charge) for Science & Technology and Vice President, CSIR, Dr. Jitendra Singh, laid the foundation stone for the first-ever "Science Experience Centre" and an exclusive "Biofuel Centre" at the premises of CSIR-IICT Hyderabad on Monday, marking a significant step towards realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Viksit Bharat and fostering innovation among the youth and startups.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jitendra Singh expressed confidence that the Science Experience Centre would inspire young minds and encourage them to generate innovative ideas for startups. He emphasised the symbiotic relationship between science and culture, stating that progress in one is essential for the fulfilment of the other.
The Science Experience Centre aims to spread the culture of science in society, especially among students, with the motto 'Communicating Science to Empower People.' Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted the collaboration between CSIR and NCSM in establishing the Science Experience Centre, emphasising its importance for the country.
