RINL-VSP nets Rs 243 cr through the online sale of 72 no. of land plots or blocks

Visakhapatnam, Mar 16 (UNI) Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL) also known as Vizag Steel Plant (VSP), netted Rs 243 crore through the sale of 72 numbers of land blocks and plots on an online bidding auction conducted by the National Land Monetisation Corporation (NLMC) here, the plant said in a release here on Saturday.
The auction held on Friday was towards the sale of RINL land blocks and plots by NLMC at Visakhapatnam (Phase 1). The e-auction witnessed a good response from bidders, including NRIS, for RINL properties located at HB colony, Auto Nagar, and Pedagantyada in Visakhapatnam.
It may be recalled that the varied size of land plots and blocks ranging from 129 to 5350 sq yds to suit multiple segments of individuals, organizations, and corporations had been offered for sale with reserve prices ranging from Rs 70,200 to Rs 85,800 per sq yd. These properties are located in a well-developed colony (CBD) in Visakhapatnam and are all encumbrance-free, with a clear title vested in RINL.
