SWR announces sectional speed increase between Majorda and Vasco-Da-Gama

Hubballi, Jul 17 (UNI) South Western Railway (SWR) on Friday announced increase in sectional speed increase between Majorda and Vasco-Da-Gama as it successfully carried out large scale track maintenance works during lockdown and suspension of regular train service.
Large scale track maintenance works have been carried out between Londa - Vasco section of Hubballi division facilitating increase in sectional speed between Majorda to Vasco-Da-Gama from 75 kmph earlier to 100 kmph for nearly 7 Km (Track km 92.500 to km 99.300) and from 65 kmph to 75 kmph for 9.5 Km (Track Km 99.300 to km 108.500), according to a release here on Friday.
