SWR's new modified Goods train carry SUV's

Hubballi, 14 Oct (UNI) Adding feather to its cap the South Western Railways (SWR), had flagged Flagged off of its 50th New Modified Goods (NMG) Train fully loaded with One hundred Cars (SUV’s) from Penukonda (Near Bengaluru) Railway Station to Gurugram in Haryana yesterday, according to a Press note issued by the Head quarters of the South Western Railways (SWR) here on Wednesday.
The Train, loaded with 100 Cars (SUV’S) of the Automakers M/S KIA Motors whose Manufacturing Plant is located near Penukonda, in 25 NMG’s which are modified to facilitate the easy movement of Automobile goods, left penukonda Railway Station in Anantpur District in Andhra Pradesh to Faruknagar in Gurugram District in Haryana State.
The Train was flagged off yesterday by Mr. A. K. Singh, General Manager, SWR at its headquarters in Hubbali through a video link, the press note said. Penukonda Station is in the Jurisdiction of the Bengaluru Division of the South Western Railway.
