BJP's Medak candidate calls for former CM KCR to be named first accused in phone tapping case

Hyderabad, Mar 27 (UNI) Raghunandan Rao, the Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate for the Medak Parliamentary seat, has urged for the inclusion of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) as the primary accused in the ongoing phone tapping case.
Addressing the media following his complaint to the Director General of Police, Ravi Gupta, Rao alleged that his phone was tapped during the Dubbaka by-election, causing him inconvenience due to the monitoring of his campaigning activities. He further asserted that such actions infringed upon his privacy and disrupted his electoral efforts.
Rao emphasised the need for a transparent investigation into the matter by the DGP. Additionally, he demanded the inclusion of former minister T. Harish Rao and the then Collector Venkatarami Reddy as the second and third accused, respectively, in connection with the alleged phone-tapping incident during the Dubbaka by-election.
