Kochi, Sept 14 (UNI) Kerala Higher Education Minister K T Jaleel has reiterated that he did not accept any gift, money or any favours from the UAE consulate in the distribution of Ramzan kits or Quran.
Mr Jaleel said "my hands are clean" and the distribution of qurans in the state needs to be viewed as a cultural and religious transaction. There is nothing more to it, the minister said at the sidelines of a meeting.
The Enforcement Directorate also sought my personal asset details which were duly submitted.
