Former K'taka home minister M B Patil urges police not to succumb to pressure on drug investigation

Bengaluru, Sep 4 (UNI) Former home minister and the senior Congress leader M B Patil has urged the state police personnel, who are investigating the presence of Drug menace in the state, not to succumb to pressure and spare anybody, who-ever-big they may be.
Speaking to newsmen here on Friday, he said, "There are rumors that there are several names of the kin of the politicians involved in the chain of Drug trade and police should bring them to book."
Recalling that when he was the Home Minister he had several rounds of meetings with the anti-narcotics wing of the department, he said, "There needs to be a good-coordination with the Central Investigating agencies to pin down the drug menace."
