Deve Gowda gives thumbs up for Hegdewar's RSS, denounces Golwalkar's

Bengaluru, Oct 8 (UNI) One must appreciate the work of RSS during the times of Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, former prime minister HD Deve Gowda said, but hinted that the saffron outfit was "radicalised from the times of MS Golwalkar''.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said, "What work Hedgewar was doing was different from what it is being done today. I don't want to speak about what happened during his or anyone else's leadership. Though, everybody has to appreciate what RSS did during Hedgewar's time, but as time passed, what Golwalkra spoke at Ramlila Maidan ... After that what happened - it was a national tragedy. I do not want to continue anymore on this. It is better I leave it at that."
Gowda was hinting at Golwalkar's bunch of thoughts, including the one categorising Muslims, along with Christians and Communists as India's "internal enemies".
