BJP seek one Assembly seat in Kakinada parliamentary constituency

Kakinada, Mar 10 (UNI) BJP district senior leaders have requested the BJP state leadership to allocate one assembly seat in the Kakinada Parliamentary constituency to the party.
BJP leaders Yenimireddi Malakondaiah, Chitneedi Srinivas, and Duvvuri Subrahmanyam told media persons here on Sunday that the Kakinada Parliamentary constituency was a stronghold for the BJP, and the seat was won by the party in 1998. ` We abide by the decision of the party leadership on the alliance.
As the seat allocation is yet to be done, we request that the party consider positively our request for allotting one of the assembly seats in Kakinada Lok Sabha constituency. We have no objection to candidature but only wanted that one of the assembly segments be allotted to the BJP’ they clarified, and they hoped the party leadership would consider their request positively.
