DGP asking me for evidence is laughable: Naidu

Vijayawada, Sept 29 (UNI) Telugu Desam party national president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu described it as 'laughable' that Director General of Police (DGP) Gautam Sawang asking him for evidence.
Mr. Naidu termed it as laughable that the DGP wrote a letter to him on Tuesday, asking for providing evidence in a sealed cover on the attack on Dalit judge's brother Ramachandra.
Mr.Naidu said, “The DGP should explain whether the responsibility of investigation is the duty of the police or the Opposition party. This kind of a series of attacks did not happen in history before. No other State in the country was facing this situation. Criminals were rearing their heads because of support from some police officials”, he slammed.
