Modi should speak up on Amazon bribery case: Dr Amee Yajnik

Mangaluru, Oct 4 (UNI) AICC Spokesperson Dr Amee Yajnik Monday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should give an explanation on the alleged kickbacks amounting to Rs 8,546 crores which e-commerce giant Amazon’s India legal counsellors had allegedly given to government officials.
Modi needs to break his silence on this issue at least in his Mann Ki Baat, she told reporters here.
The issue pertains to Amazon initiating an investigation into allegations that its legal representatives in India had bribed government officials.
