Bengaluru, Sep 29 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai Wednesday vowed to regularly take brisk walks to reduce the risk of mortality.
"If I look at PC Mohan, our MP, he seems to take brisk walking. Our doctor (Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar) not only takes brisk walks, but also exercises. Sometimes I take a brisk walk, but from today onwards, I vow to take brisk walking regularly," he said on the occasion of World Heart Day.
Health experts say people who walk briskly have a long life expectancy.
