nCoV: Puducherry reports 320 new cases, four deaths in 24 hours

Puducherry, Oct 11 (UNI) As many as 320 more persons were tested positive for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and four died in the Union Territory (UT) in the last 24 hours on Sunday, leaving 4695 active cases here.

According to the COVID report for Sunday released by the health department, 253 new cases were reported in Puducherry region, 39 in Karaikal, 6 in Yanam and 22 in Mahe region. As many as 336 persons were discharged in the last 24 hours. Total 234 of them were from Puducherry region,73 from Karaikal,14r from Yanam and 15 from Mahe region. All the four deaths were reported in Puducherry region.
