Puducherry, Oct 4 (UNI) Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi on Sunday said that with bars getting opened, the excise police will be making surprise checks and conduct video recording about the observance of protocol inside the bars and eateries for examining the violations.
In a message to the public on social media, She said that legal action will be initiated on the merits of each case and even licences will be suspended.
She said, 44 COVID deaths were reported in the UT last week.
