Health dept introduces IVRS for COVID patients in home quarantine

Puducherry, Sept 11 (UNI) Health Department here has introduced ‘Interactive Voice Response System”(IVRS ) for the benefit of the Coronavirus patients in home quarantine.
Director of Medical Services Dr Mohan Kumar on Friday said that COVID positive patients who are otherwise normal in all aspects would be sent in home isolation, if they got the facility for same.
The COVID War Room here would collect the address and phone number of such patients and the counsellor will contact them over phone as it will not be possible to personally visit the over 2,000 d COVID patients in home isolation.
