COVID-19: 7,293 new cases reported, 57 more die in AP

Vijayawada, Sep 26 (UNI) The surge of Coronavirus positive cases continued in Andhra Pradesh as 7,293 fresh positive cases reported in a period of 24 hours taking the tally to 6,68,751 while 57 more patients died taking the death toll to 5,663.
A health bulletin said here on Saturday that 75,990 swab samples were diagnosed in a period of 24 hours of which 7,293 were tested positive for Coronavirus. With the death of 57 persons in a period of 24 hours the pandemic has claimed 5,663 lives.
Large number of deaths has taken place in Chittoor (663), East Godavari district (507), Guntur district (514), Anantapur (440), Kurnool district (459), Nellore district (439), Prakasham district (455) and West Godavari district (440).
