AP: Kidney transplant surgeries at Kakinada Apollo is a boon to people : Dr IV Rao

Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), Mar 14 (UNI) Retired director of medical education and former Vice Chancellor of NTR Health University Dr I.V Rao has said that with the world class medical facilities and round the clock availability of expert doctors for every super specialty, the Kakinada Apollo hospital has of late proved a boon to the people of not only the smart city but to the people of four surrounding districts.
Addressing a special interaction meeting to mark the World kidney day at Royal park here on Thursday, under the auspices of Apollo hospitals, Dr Rao, who himself is a reputed senior most physician of over five decades experience, said that the Apollo hospitals should be complimented for upgrading their institution bringing super specialists to the doorsteps of people of the smart city for attending to vital Laparoscopic kidney transplantations with cent percent success and with affordable charges.
Advising people to keep their kidneys healthy by taking proper precautions such as undergoing regular checkups for every six months, Dr Rao said awareness goes a long way in maintaining good health preventing the ailments at the preliminary stage itself.
