Ex-PM Deve Gowda's son-in-law to take on DK Suresh on BJP ticket

Bengaluru, March 13 (UNI) The entry of Dr CN Manjunath, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda's son-in-law, into the political arena as a BJP candidate for the Bengaluru Rural Constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections has added an intriguing dimension to the political landscape of the Old Mysuru region.
His candidacy sets the stage for a contest against the incumbent MP DK Suresh, who hails from the Congress party and is the brother of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.
