Telangana: 23 candidates remain in fray for Nov 3 Dubbak by-election

Hyderabad, Oct 19 (UNI) With the deadline for withdrawal of nominations ending on Monday, 23 candidates are left in the fray for the Dubbak assembly by-election scheduled to be held on November 3 in Telangana.
Of nearly 34 candidates whose nominations were scrutinized and cleared by the returning officer for Dubbak assembly by-poll, 11 nominations were withdrawn by independent candidates on Monday.
Though 23 candidates are finally in the fray for the by-election, the main contest only among the ruling TRS, Opposition Congress and the BJP.
