Karnataka will not take a hasty decision in reopen of Schools, children's health is important:Minister

Bengaluru, Oct 1 (UNI) Karnataka Government will not take a hasty decision to reopen schools and all steps will be taken to protect the health of children, Minister for Primary and Secondary School S Suresh Kumar said on Thursday.
Talking to media here on Thursday, the Minister clarified that there is no difference of opinion on the subject in the department. Though the Centre has, in its lockdown-5 has issued guidelines, giving power to state governments to take decisions depending upon the local situation, the state government is already on the move and collecting opinions of experts, legislators, parents, decision will not be taken in a hasty manner.
"It is the duty of the State government to protect the health of the Students. Since everyday cases were reported, a decision on reopen of Schools will be taken after a careful study," he added.
