Navy, and Army combined amphibian exercises off Kakinada from March 26

Kakinada. Mar 25(UNI): Navy and Army combined amphibian exercises will be held for six days from March 26 to March 31 in which apart from the Indian Navy the Naval ships from the United States of America (USA) are participating.
Since as many as over 800 officers and men of the defence forces of both countries are camping at the NTR beach and Naval enclave area along the coast, the district police authorities have beefed up the security arrangements in the region. District superintendent of police S. Sathish Kumar along with sub-divisional police officer K Hanumantharao and rural circle Inspector K Srinivas visited the area on Monday and discussed the arrangements and safety aspects with the army officers.
War tanks and warships will participate in the naval amphibian exercises showing how the defence forces would defend the country from the aggression of Terrorists and other enemy forces.
