Cheating case against Manjeswaram MLA

Kasaragod, Aug 29 (UNI) The Chanthera police on Saturday registered a case of cheating against Manjeswaram MLA M C Khamarudheen, who is also the chairman of Fashion Gold Jewellery.
Police sources said the case was registered on a complaint by a group of people who invested Rs 35 lakhs in the jewellery a little over a year ago.
The complainants alleged that the MLA did not return their money as promised. The jewellery shop is closed as it suffered cash loss in its very first year of operation, sources said.
